For most of us guys the thing that we notice the most during pregnancy is the obvious changes in our ladies bodies. They are going through some real huge changes and none of the feel good to them. One of the first things that will changes is their appetite. You might notice them wanting desserts for breakfast lunch and dinner, or other strange cravings. However, a lot of women use pregnancy as an excuse to eat whatever they want. You need to remember that what she eats… your baby eats. So I know that she will want lots of fast food and other crap, but try to limit that. This might make you have to do some real meal planning to keep your wife from ballooning out of control. Not all women have this problem and some of them will start eating very healthy. Do what you can to encourage their healthy eating, and nutrition. But never for get that their body is all crazy and out of whack, so if she is craving some ice cream or peanut butter covered pickles, just get it for them. Do not tell your pregnant partner that she can’t have something, unless it’s going to be bad for the baby. If you are not sure about what foods are not good for pregnant women, just consult your wife’s new baby library, or better yet ask her crazy friends who have already gone through it to talk about their pregnancy diet, and guilt your wife into eating better.
